Are you a fan of eggnog? I’m not. Now I’ve never actually tried it but there are some things you just know you will not enjoy like paying taxes. My mom really likes it. It’s very rich in calories and definitely a treat. She buys it from the store so pretty sure it’s the non-alocholic version. One of these days I might try it and then I will have a solid reason for not enjoying it.
It’s a Christmas tradition to go look at Christmas lights. I love it and wish we could normalize having such decorations all year. Now I’m terrible about putting up Christmas decorations as we live in chaos so adding decorations to it just doesn’t make sense. But this year maybe I will decorate a small space like my desk. Something that is somewhat organized and decorations would help instead of just getting lost in the clutter.
That’s good enough for me. The Cookie Monster is my favorite monster.
I have a sweet tooth. Christmas cookies are the best cookies. My mother-in-law made the best sugar cookies that we would then decorate with homemade icing. Those were delicious and a tradition that we have done a few times over the years but not nearly enough.
We don’t wear the same size but that is not a problem for her.
It’s natural to feel excitement and dread for the holidays at the same time? There is so much to do that would be fine but you already have everything else you normally have to do as well. I like my free time and the holidays encroach on that so much. But it’s also so much fun to bake cookies and decorate the tree.
Too much of a good thing. That’s what the holidays are.
